Go easy...just coffee..or cold drinks..and a light snack at the break (donuts..pretzels..go light) they are not there to eat, but to learn..and to fellowship..they know this...and understand it's not a "party", but a gathering of souls..for "breaking the Bread of Life" God Bless.....Mr. Diamond...
What is good to serve guests at a home Bible Study?
crackers with cheese and deli meats (the kind that come in the packages sliced thin),
chips and dips,
celery/carrots/cauliflower tray with dip,
some cut up fruits like apples, pineapples, grapes, canteloupe
Cookies/little cakes type things
Various drinks, water, coffee, juices, maybe soda
You didnt say if this was adults or kids or a mixture.
Don't forget napkins!
Reply:Wheat thins. They are unleavened bread.
Reply:finger foods, dips and chips are good too.
Reply:Son,
We generally have the study after the dinner-time so we have snacks (like crackers) and soda or juice. Have a great time!
Thanks,
Eds
.
Reply:cookies, crackers, cheese, pickels, juice
Reply:It all depends on the group and the host and the time of day. Go with whatever you are comfortable doing.
Reply:If anything maybe some coffee and Ice water, because of the talking. At least theres something to wet your whistle. No food or snacks are necessary for a one hour or so "BIBLE STUDY" not snack break. GOOD LUCK %26amp; GOD BLESS!!!
Reply:Can't beat cookies or crackers and cheese. Easy, non sticky, and good
Reply:Serve them food and drink, It doesn't have to be strong drink. Jesus told His deciples, whenever you stop at some ones house and you set down to eat, eat what ever they put before you. God had said,"every thing i created is good. Jesus took two loafs of bread and two fishes, and fed 5000 people. Jest feed them normal food, like what you eat. Jesus said, when ever there is a group together in His name, He would be there also. He told His deciples, they would not be alone, so look for Jesus also, and believe me every thing will be right.
Reply:chocolate brownies. Guarantees they're come back next time!
Reply:I can't speak for the others but I would need some prozac and a few sleeping pills.
Reply:Gin and tonic. The gin is to loosen them up so they are more receptive to the teachings of the LORD. The tonic is so they don't get malaria.
Reply:Serve the Unleavened bread of truth and sincerity.
Reply:Doesn't have to be complicated, but consider that not everyone wants coffee %26amp; sweets. We consistently took fresh fruits %26amp; veggie trays to our small group sessions.
Take into consideration any special needs. Ask the people you're inviting about these. For example, some will physiologically react seriously to peanuts even if they're in the same room with an open container of peanut butter cookies. Others have sensitivities to wheat, dairy, soy, caffiene or sugar %26amp; even chlorinated water.
I like to offer caffiene-free (decaffinated isn't good enough for some) herb tea--with honey as an alternative to sugar. For diabetics, Original Good Earth Sweet %26amp; Spicy (caffiene free, herbal) is really good %26amp; everyone I've ever offered it to really likes it even if they aren't sensitive to certain things. And it doesn't require any sugar or honey (even for honey lovers like me)!
If you can't serve purified water, offer slices of lemon to neutralize the chlorine in the water.
Reply:“There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were hung like donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.
You longed for….. youth, when in Egypt your buttocks were caressed and your young firm breasts fondled. “ (Holy Bible - Ezekiel 23:20-21)
“……for in her youth men had lain with her, handled her youthful teats and ejaculated upon her breasts. “ (Holy Bible - Ezekiel 23:8)
