Why does my big bible study book disregard Levitates?

of whatever. The chapter comes after exodus. I mean on the 365 day reading. It never tells me to read the chapter after Exodus. THat which is Leviates or some thing. Is that book unimportant or what? I doubt it. I know it's well important.

Why does my big bible study book disregard Levitates?
Plumpdn,

The book after Exodus is NOT Numbers. It's Leviticus.

Gen Ex Lev Num Deut

I don't know why your study guide leaves it out. If you wish to study it, Leviticus can be broken down into a few general sections:

Instructions for Sacrifice (Chapters 1-7)

Consecration of priests (Chapters 8-10)

Laws for purification (Chapters 11-16)

Holiness laws (Lev. 17-26)

Before their journey into Canaan, Isreal had to receive instructions on how to live with God in their midst. This is what Leviticus is about.

Reply:The book after Exodus is Numbers. It is boring and just a list of generations of Israel...a bunch of boring names. After that is Deuteronomy...Joshua .. Judges...Ruth...1 Samuel....2 Samuel....Hmmm...I am not a Christian and I know this...You better get to reading. You will NEVER be able to defend your self in this forum.
