Atheists would you rather eat glass or attend a bible study with Creationists?

JD - I'll go to an Evolution seminar with you if you go to a Bible study with me. :)

Atheists would you rather eat glass or attend a bible study with Creationists?
actually, I'd much rather attend the Bible study. I'm a big fan of comedy!
Reply:Eating glass can be hazardous, but laughter is good for my health, so I choose the creationists, or any other fun show.
Reply:eat glass
Reply:Good morning, professor;

Can I answer even if i'm Christian????

pleeeeeeeeeease.

I'd rather eat glass.
Reply:Christians would you rather eat razor blades or attend a evolution seminar with this guy?
Reply:only if I was bound and gagged, and even then I'd try to convince my appendix to shoot out and strangle me. Hell, it would probably do so voluntarily.
Reply:Glass is high in Vitamin B and riboflavin.
Reply:HMMMM glass sounds appetizing compared to the stomach turning fiction they feed you in bible study. Glass it is!
Reply:How much glass?
Reply:I'll go to the Church BBQ. If you don't go, there will be an extra whatever for me.
Reply:I'd rather attend a bible study with Creationists- it's not as bad as eating glass. And besides, I like to view things with an open mnd. I don't think religion is necessarily a bad thing, and I always like to learn new things, things that may help me. It's just that I can't see how religion's preachings could be entirely true.
Reply:I would attend.Although I'm not religious I am curious.Knowing somebody's reliogious background means knowing him better. By learning i can be a better judge of characters and know what to expect from a person who is...a.."creationist" and how to approach him in a conversation.

eat glass?no way yuck
Reply:I think the question is trolling for trouble.

I am an atheist, but I am intrigued by religion, as I would be intrigued by any powerful natural phenomena. I have fine friends who are christian. I want to know what makes them believe as they do. FEAR is a powerful emotion, and what I see in your question is fear of an idea that is different. If you are brave enough to stand by what you believe, then conquer your own fear of the unknown.
Reply:show me the bottle. i did the former at school.
Reply:I'd go to bible study. And I'd make very loud and obnoxious comments about the bible and god until they kicked me out. Therefore not having to attend bible study or eat glass.
Reply:No No No!!!!

This is What they Should Do!!!

Each morning upon rising, and each evening before sleeping, gives thanks for the life within you and for all life, for the good things the Creator has given you and for the opportunity to grow a little more each day. Consider your thoughts and actions of the past day and seek for the courage and strength to be a better person. Seek for the things that will benefit others (everyone).

2. Respect. Respect means "To feel or show honor or esteem for someone or something; to consider the well being of, or to treat someone or something with deference or courtesy". Showing respect is a basic law of life.

3. Once a council has decided something in unity, respect demands that no one speak secretly against what has been decided. If the council has made an error, that error will become apparent to everyone in its own time.

4. Be truthful at all times, and under all conditions.

5. Always treat your guests with honor and consideration. Give of your best food, your best blankets, the best part of your house, and your best service to your guests.

6. The hurt of one is the hurt of all; the honor of one is the honor of all.

7. Receive strangers and outsiders with a loving heart and as members of the human family.

8. All the races and tribes in the world are like the different colored flowers of one meadow. All are beautiful. As children of the Creator they must all be respected.

9. To serve others, to be of some use to family, community, nation, and the world is one of the main purposes for which human beings have been created. Do not fill yourself with your own affairs and forget you’re most important talks. True happiness comes only to those who dedicate their lives to the service of others.

10. Observe moderation and balance in all things.

11. Know those things that lead to your well-being and those things that lead to your destruction.

12. Listen to and follow the guidance given to your heart. Expect guidance to come in many forms; in prayer, in dreams, in times of quiet solitude, and in the words and deeds of wise Elders and friends.

Wahoo!!!
Reply:I'd probably get more accomplished by eating glass.
Reply:I went to a Bible study once. We studied the story of Samson and Delilah. The moderator went around the room asking what everyone thought the message was. I was looking over the story, think of things like don't be a moron, learn from your expeience, etc.. but no one else answered. So the moderater asks, "What have you done for God lately?" (huh? what passage?) Which led the discussion into tearful accounts of "Not enough" and "I'm not worthy", at which point I began to look askance at the Kool-aid and edge towards the door.

They all followed me, so I moved faster... and they moved faster... until they were literally chasing me down the dorm hall yelling that my soul was in danger.

I felt like I'd escaped from a horror movie. I decided I'd learned all I needed to know about how Christians thought these days, and went to study other religions.
Reply:they will say ''EAT GLASS'' and i can understand why....lol
Reply:As a Christian I did attend bible study with creationists - and I would rather have eaten glass - I would have disagreed with the hospital staff much less and the pain would have been easier to deal with (sorry not an atheist but felt the real experience was relevant)

PS half of them were my family ARGHHHH
Reply:Will you supersize my glass, please?
Reply:I could have a lot of fun at the Bible study. And glass really sounds a little dangerous.
