I want to tell the group that the NIV is based off of corrupt, Catholic manuscripts (Latin Vulgate and something else), but how do I go about doing it so I don't look awkward in trying to convert a whole bunch of people to switch bible versions? Also, I want to show them entire missing bible versions and stuff. How do I convince them that the King James bible is the perfect preserved Word of God in English? And if you disagree with me please don't answer the question! Thank you!
I recently joined a bible study, and they all use the corrupt NIV. How do I convince them to use the KJV?
It's hard to convince the stiff necked, those under strong delusion and those in a slumber/stooper....but maybe if you suggest the site called, Bible Verses Removed, they could see in writing and comparrison what's so wrong with the "newer " translations. One scripture I use to get that point across is when Jesus says you must "hate" your mother, brother, sister.... and I tell them that the word hate in the Greek means to love less and that Jesus would never say to hate your mother...
Reply:We have a paper on the KJV Bible that we got off the internet. It really shows how the other Bibles out there are really messed up! Here is the website-www.nogreaterjoy.org You could print off some copies and pass them around.
Reply:It's funny to see you Protestants fighting over your many translations of the Bible.
Reply:The only uncorrupt you can find is the originals. KJV is one of the most corrupt.
Reply:And people wonder why those of us who aren't laugh at some of goings-on in the Christian churches.
Reply:That is silly. NIV is not corrupt.
You better concentrate to your own performance
Reply:Change Study groups to one that uses the KJV? Good luck convincing them, they won't like to hear it and won't believe you.
Reply:research how they both came into being (Facts and Figures)and flaunt the KJV
I would not say it is corrupt, but.....
Reply:oh hai, Pray to Jesus to come down from the sky and whack them upside the head with the Hole-iest Version
