Do you have family Bible Study in your home? When and how long?

My husband and I pick out Bible verses to discuss with our children most days. We try for everyday but don't always succeed. We just talk about it, sometimes for 15 minutes, sometimes for an hour. It depends on how many questions the kids have or how they are able to apply it to circumstances in their own lives. If you ask kids how their day was, they usually answer, ok. If you ask what they did, they will say "nothing". This is a great way to get them to open up. It brings us closer to each other and to God.

May God Bless you.

Reply:When I was little we used to have Bible Study.

It involved my 2 other siblings and my dad, who used to read out of the Childrens Bible and then we would discuss what happened and answer questions.

I was alot of fun for me :)

Reply:Only every day of my life. 24/7.
Reply:Daily for about 10-15 minutes before dinner...Kids are still young so we keep it short.
Reply:Ahh, family devotions! Yes I head those up, since I have only toddlers in my home, We read a few pages out of a "real" picture bible (not a bible storybook). Then we pray, and maybe sing some songs.
Reply:No, but I really need to start doing that. We used to have one at my mothers house once a week for an hour.
