Would you recommend a bible study for a 5 year old?

I don't believe any of that crap. I'm just hoping to get a few hours away from the kid every week.

It's like he understands exactly how to push every button I have. It's not fair.

Would you recommend a bible study for a 5 year old?
Ummm, try a daycare. Bible study is not a good idea with an attitude like yours, it will confuse the child.
Reply:In order to brainwash your child most effectively, you should play Mel Gibson's The Passion of Christ to your fetus in utero.
Reply:No!!!

At 5, he is at a stage of development where he will soak up any old rubbish and accept it as fact.

Look, he's just being a kid and that's his job right now. Be a more tolerant parent and take him to a natural history museum or even out to fly a kite.

Religion is a curse - don't do that to him.
Reply:Absolutely............

"Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of God."

Mark 10:14
Reply:Yes! That is basically what Vacation Bible School is all about. And you might try finding an adult one that will help you with...you! You may not "believe" any of it right now but it can sure help in dealing with daily frustrations! Try it and see!
Reply:No. That is too young. Once the child is eight or so, you could do that; warn him that the stories are interesting and fun, but purely fiction. In the meantime, can you get some help from the father?
Reply:does the kid has the decision to choose what to believe or not? did you have the right to say no? think about it, you are forcing someone to believe what you believe just 'because'... let the children grow and if they want to believe or not, it will be their choosing..
