I want to knw how to do bible study,?
start at the beginning and when you get to the end stop
Reply:i am a christian and has been for years, and i don't think i've read the bible from cover to cover like you would a book. I would advice that you get bible studies from your church, because if you try to read and understand for yourself, you will all be confused and have more questions than answers.

Have someone who is more advanced/ and knowledged in this area to clearify things for you.

I am not saying that you cannot read your bible for yourself, but to really study the word, you will need some assistance.
Reply:Bible study is much better in a group setting, especially if you haven't already read the whole thing at least once. Do you have any churches near you? Maybe you could call them up and ask about Bible study groups. If you don't have any churches nearby, there are online study groups too. Just be careful, there are lots of false teachers online.

God bless you!
Reply:lol at the Lewis Carroll quote.

I think that methods of studying the bible vary by religion. Since you're using the phrase "bible study" I'm guessing you're Christian, so see a leader in your denomination for assistance.
Reply:psalms, proverbs, gospels...

how to study the Bible: spend time listening to God in His Word; spend time talking to God in prayer.
Reply:Just ask any J.W.

ask them any Bible based question.

You will not get personal opinions.

Then check the answers at www.watchtower.org

The Watchtower Society is UNITED WORLDWIDE.

There are no sects or divisions.
Reply:ask the lord to guide u 1st!book of john is agood start!
Reply:I would suggest the book of John or Luke then start at the beginning of the New Testament with Matthew and if you want to read from the Old testament Genesis, Exodus, Psalms, Jeremiah and Isaiah. Starting at the beginning and reading to the end is a rather daunting task but can be done. I have read it from front to back several times and I find I get more out of studying one book at a time. If you can find a study at your local church or form one with some other Christians it works better.

Back to the Bible did a series of radio shows on studying the Bible. It was pretty good I thought.
