Bible study fellowship?

Hi has anyone attended bible sudy fellowship? It is known as bsfinternational. Care to share what is it like and how has it benefitted you? am thinking of going to one.

Bible study fellowship?
In our Church Home we have on going bible studies all year round...Currently we just finished the Book of John....soon we will do a series called "the Purpose Driven Life" Most of our churches in town even have summer bible studies going on for Men, women and child of all ages...Its is such a fun way to fellowship.....
Reply:Attended for one year. It was ok, but I prefer the KJV and they taught from the NIV.
Reply:Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) is well respected within Christian circles. It is a demanding Bible study course, where you will study a book of the Bible in-depth, reading every cross reference to every verse and do a lot of homework to prepare for meetings. The homework is required to participate in the meetings.

Some find it too demanding, but most find that it is very beneficial, especially if you feel you need a greater understanding of the Bible.
Reply:[LOL.... Just read happygirl's description of the Bible Study... I've been doing that type of study with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit all my life :)]

Peace be with you :)
Reply:Yes it is a good study. Check it out and see what you think. Depending on how well you are taught at church and read for yourself.............you'll learn alot.
Reply:We have home groups at our church and each week discuss a different book or aspect of the bible. I like it. I find the more I learn about God's word and the more I let the Holy Spirit guide me the more at peace I feel.
